Browser Wars

As many of you know, there are numerous browser available to people. Those who buy their computer and don't know much about computers as a whole will be using Internet Explorer most likely, unless they buy a Mac, in which case, they'll be using Safari.

Recent reports show that IE8 and Chrome (Google's Browser) are showing the most signs of momentum in the browser wars. You can view stats and such here:

What I'm happy to hear is the fact that IE8 is slowly gaining momentum. I've had enough issues with later versions, although, I only use it for testing website designs. I don't use it on a regular basis. Firefox is my alternative on both my PC and Mac over their default browsers.

Many people have been using the older versions of IE which did not support much CSS coding and that made out jobs harder as developers. However, they are stating that IE8 now has full support of CSS2... which is the current working version (although still just a draft). CSS3 is at a working stage and so is not yet completed.

I've always tried to revert users from IE to Firefox for the fact that IE, in later versions, didn't support CSS as well as the other browsers. Microsoft is slowly understanding this and we can see it becoming evident that they're changing this.

At this point, IE still holds the largest share of users worldwide, and we've yet to see how Chrome will compare as it's still fairly new to the system.

WHAT'S YOUR OPINION?
Please share what browser(s) you are currently using and why. Do you have specific reasons why you prefer one over the other? Is it appearance? How quick it loads?
