It's now been about two months since the hands-free devices while driving law has been passed in Ontario. Yet, still today, it feels like I see more people on their phones or texting while driving than before the law was passed!
I understand that going into a retail/box store to check out hands-free devices or ear pieces can shock you in regards to price. They aren't necessarily cheap, per say. Then again, I'm Dutch, so this might come to me more than some of you. :)
However, there are a number of places where you could purchase cheaper Bluetooth devices:
TigerDirect.ca
FactoryDirect.ca
CanadaComputers.com
...to name a few.
Your Turn
On the right, there's a poll where you can cast your vote of whether or not you are in favour of this new law. Do you think this is helping drivers? Do you still see many drivers phoning and texting without hands-free devices and can you tell they're not paying attention to the road? Post your comments below and cast your vote on the right.
